My favorite subject

A Subject you enjoy studying this semester:

The subject that I like this semester is "development of skills and self-care for professional practice", It is the class that is most associated and related to dentistry.

The theoretical classes are basically generalities of dentistry, I remember the classes of dental specialties, caries, periodontal diseases, saliva, and others.
These classes are super important because we can know basic but necessary aspects for dentistry, for example, dental nomenclature, periodontal diseases, cavities, oral problems.


In the practical classes we applied what we knew, we learned to use some dental tools, how to prepare the work area, the different areas that are on the work table (as administrative, the dirty area, the sterile area), also where to locate each material, the characteristics of the materials, the special characteristics of the teeth and others.

I like this class because as I said before it is very related to dentistry, they are very relaxed theoretical classes that taught me a lot about dentistry, I learned things that I will use directly in my work as a dentist.

Also the practical classes are the only classes where I can relax, I have fun and apply my skills and knowledge in a different and entertaining way.
