Post 6, postgraduate studies.

I think dentistry has a lot of different Postgraduate course, I have 3 ideas about what I want to take...
The first one  is maxillo facial surgery is specializes in treating many diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral (mouth) and maxillofacial (jaws and face) region,  includes diagnosis, surgery and treatments related to a wide spectrum of diseases, wounds and aesthetic aspects of the mouth, teeth, face, head and neck.
Diagnosis and treatment of:
  • benign pathology
  • malignant pathology (oral & head and neck cancer)
  • cutaneous malignancy (skin cancer), lip reconstruction
  • congenital craniofacial malformations
  • chronic facial pain disorders
  • temporomandibular joint disorders
  • dysgnathia (incorrect bite), and orthognathic
  • Etc
Something that I really scary is obviusly do something wrong in a surgery, or anesthesia training, that scary me a lot.
But I really want to help childrens and babys with cleft lip and cleft palate, also known as orofacial cleft, for some reason think in help them make me feel good and complete.

The second one is orthodontics, I think all know what is this, "prevention and correction of malpositioned teeth and jaws" , basically I like it because a lot of people feel ashamed when they smile :((, and I want to help them.

I think I will study here in chile, but if some reason I can do this in another country I will do it, but maxilofacial... I think I have to think so good about this one cause sound so hard do it in another country with a different language

I like the style of class that I have now, I want to started at 9 am and finished at 4 pm, with pressencial clasess and test
